Corona infection has taken away a lot. Took away our normal life from us. We have lost thousands of our loved ones. In the shadow of fear, the train of life is slowly returning to the track, but due to this epidemic, the festival color has also faded.
At the box office, where big movies were released every year on the occasion of Diwali, whistles were played in theaters, while this time nothing like this is seen. Chances were that Ranveer Singh’s cricket-based film ’83’ would be released, but the makers also pulled back here. Now the only new film ‘Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari ‘ is the support of the big screen.
Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari to be released in theaters on November 13
A joy for theater owners is that Zee Entertainment’s ‘Suraj Par Mangal Bhari’ will be released in theaters. The film by Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh is to be released on 13 November. The production house has not yet pulled back from release.
But how many number of viewers reach the theater is also a question?? Only 10 percent of the audience has been seen in theaters since the theater opened.
One reason for this may be that only the old films have been re-released in theaters. So will ‘Suraj Par Mangal Bhari‘ pull viewers to the big screen? It will be worth seeing.
Only 10% of tickets are being sold right now
After other cities of the country, theaters have also opened in Mumbai. The government has allowed people to sit in 50 percent of the seats. But this will directly affect the collection of films.
Due to the transition, where no new film is being released in already opened theaters in all the cities including Delhi-NCR, the owners of theaters and multiplexes who are spending money on the old films are also suffering.
It was expected that there would be a big explosion on Diwali. But it seems that this time neither the counters will have a long line of fans nor there will be applause.
Suryavanshi’ release also Postponed
The situation is such that the director-producer is still waiting for the big films to release in the normal situation by delaying the release. This is the reason that the films of superstars ranging from Amitabh Bachchan to Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar to Ranveer Singh are pending release.
Reliance Entertainment plans to release Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn, and Ranveer Singh’s ‘Suryavanshi’, but has once again pulled back.
Earlier the film was to be released on 22 May, then on 12 June and now again postponed and chances of release this year.
83′ to be released next year
Director Kabir Khan has made a film on the 1983 historical Cricket World Cup. This film is also from Reliance Entertainment. It was expected that the film ’83’ would be released on Diwali or Christmas. But its release has also been postponed. This list of stuck films is very long. Salman Khan’s ‘Radhey: Your Most Wanted Brother’ is also ready. ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ is also waiting for the situation to be normal for release.
‘Laxmii’ and ‘Chhalaang’ will be on OTT on Diwali
There are some OTT Releases on Diwali. Laxmii featuring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani will be released on OTT on November 9, just before Diwali.
Similarly, Rajkummar Rao and Nusrat Bharucha’s film ‘Chhalaang’ will be released on OTT on November 13, a day before Diwali.
On the other hand, due to Corona, now the fun of Christmas and New Year is also going to be gritty. Ranveer Singh’s film ’83’ will now be released in the first quarter of 2021 next year. However, there is a possibility that ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’ may be released on the occasion of Christmas.
